A Privateer Pilothouse is very much a home from home, which is why many owners choose to live onboard for extended periods or even permanently. They benefit from a seriously spacious design and an ingenious layout that makes the most of the every part of the boat, both inside and out.
Stay awhile
Timelessly styled yet imbued with modern facilities, this luxurious yacht is a fine option if you are looking to explore the British Isles, Scandinavia or head south to the Med and beyond. Other owners have found the Pilot House perfect for travelling the inland waterways of Europe. Either way, the comfort levels are such that a long term stay onboard will be delightful regardless of the views outside. Like all Privateers, the fitting of heat-reflecting glass ensures a snug or cool interior environment wherever you choose to travel.
The options are yours
Currently available in four different sizes – 52, 60 and 70 ft – how you opt to equip and lay out your Privateer Pilothouse very much depends on your plans. Most owners elect to place their master suite in the aft area, and the size will depend on how much storage space you require for kit. Clients who like to travel with jet skis and other watersports gear happily sacrifice some of the aft living accommodation in order to add a door in the transom.
Let there be light
The larger Pilothouse’s also offer you a large lounge area, space for people to stay when you have guests onboard and an immense galley. Windows in the hull not only give a pleasant traditional look to the yacht, they also bathe the interior in natural light. The Privateer Pilothouse 70 can also be fitted with a flybridge on top should you require, although it is important to state that the steering position in the original design offers excellent views.
